Ken is Yum!’s head of marketing strategy for all three of its QSR brands (Taco Bell, Pizza Hut & KFC) globally. In this role, he leads a hit squad of 7 strategists that are tasked with solving key issues around the world, ranging from re-energizing the innovation pipelines to launching new dayparts to repositioning the brands.

Recently, Ken has helped reposition the Pizza Hut brand globally, KFC in Russia, France & UK, launch Taco Bell Breakfast and train dozens of marketing departments around the world.

Prior to this, Ken was the co-founder of Collider, a marketing strategy consultancy that repositioned—among others, Tyson Foods, Nestlé North America, Lean Cuisine, and most of Taco Bell’s products over the last few years.

On the agency side, Ken ran the planning department at FCB Orange County for several years and was a planning director at FCB Chicago.  His style of planning is deeply influenced by his first several years in the industry, where he started as a copywriter and eventually became a creative director for multiple brands.
